We’ll let you know when the page gets updated if you sign up to our mailing list via the Contact page. You also find lovely reviews of both Friday and Saturday nights over on the Jazz Mann’s website as well as on Peter Bacon’s Jazz Breakfast website.

Looking back, the last few days have been a joy to be involved with. So many people have thanked us for putting it together but it has genuinely been a real pleasure to stand back and let the musicians shine through. If you missed out this year, don’t worry. Like some kind of jazz Terminator, we’ll be back. Don’t just wait until next year to say “hi” though. You can still contact us, and we’d love your feedback on this year. info@harmonicfestival.co.uk is the email address to reach us on. We’ll also be adding recordings and photos to the website in the coming weeks so please come back and check them out.

We’d like to thank Birmingham Jazz, Arts Council West Midlands and Birmingham City Council for their support of Harmonic without whom undoubtedly this wouldn’t have happened.

John Hollenbeck’s music was beuatiful played by the band and Percy and Steve really enhanced the sound and direction of the band. Thanks again to John and the rest of Claudia for being so open and willing to experiment. It certainly paid off tonight.

Tomorrow is the final day of Harmonic 2010 and I personally can’t wait. We’ve got a huge amount of music to fit in. There are still tickets available on the door so please come down and experience what promises to be an amazing day of music.

Soweto Kinch on Giant Steps

Soweto then got the over-capacity crowd fired up with an exilharating set of original compositions and standards. A classic Yardbird gig. Thanks to Aaron and Rob for the support.
