Creative Composers Ensemble

Friday, June 10th, 2011

As part of the run up to Harmonic 2011, we’ve had a hand in creating a new ensemble for Birmingham’s Creative jazz composers. The Creative Composers Ensemble will be having monthly open rehearsals at the MAC in Cannon Hill Park. The ensemble will be rehearsing brand new music and ideas from its members in the Terrace Gallery which is open for anyone to sit in and listen to the arrangements being worked on. As the ensemble develops there will be gigs and more, including an appearance at Harmonic 2011.

The Ensemble meet on the first Sunday of each month from 1pm until 4pm with the next rehearsal on 3rd July, so come down, hang out, have a coffee and check out some new music in the making.
